E21s are awesome. I really don’t like E30s (I think they look like the box drawings of cars my nephew makes) so I won’t fight you on that comparison. I do like E46 and E90 sedans a lot though. Great lines and nice interiors IMO.

The E36 is the best. So many variants, and so many of them are awesome as fuck. You got the Z3 roadster and shoe, the 318ti with the canvas sunroof, E36 M3 (coupe, sedan, and convertible!), all of which totally rock.

Personally, the E21 is a VERY close second to the E30 in my opinion, mainly because the E30 had the first M3, but both the E21 and E30 were available with the amazing Baur cabriolet configuration, so it would be a tie if it wasn’t for the E30 M3.

The E21 I called mine for 6 months was the most aggressively disappointing car I’ve ever owned. Hands down.

Mine was a total beater, but still lots of fun. If I were to own one again, it would need to be a 6 cylinder though. Time to figure out how to import a 323i....
